TALK International, Miami / Fort Lauderdale

TALK International Fort Lauderdale Campus is located on the campus of the prestigious Nova Southeastern University in an educational development area that a number of universities and community colleges with extensive library and sports facilities call home.

NSU is located on a 300 acre campus in the Fort Lauderdale suburb of Davie, Florida, where more than 26,000 students attend daily. NSU is the largest independent institute of higher learning in the Southeastern U.S., and the 6th largest independent institution in the nation.

Many shopping malls, shopping centers, boutiques, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, hospitals, medical clinics and bookstores are located close to the campus.

Fort Lauderdale is located just 35 minutes north of Miami International Airport and 35 minutes south of Palm Beach and is the jewel of South Florida. This beautiful coastal city boasts 12 kilometers of pristine white beaches, studded with palm trees and washed by warm, crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

With over 300 kilometers of waterways and canals Fort Lauderdale is known as “The Venice of America” and the “Yachting Capital of the World”. Beautiful private mansions – many with their owners’ private yachts – overlook the waterways. Colorful sidewalk cafes are alive with the interaction of local people, tourists and students alike.

The climate is Sub-Tropical and Fort Lauderdale is bathed in golden sunshine 310 days a year. Temperatures average 25°C (78°F) year round. Summer temperatures hover around 28°C (85°F) with August being the warmest month. January is the coldest month with winter temperatures averaging 21°C (70°F). The heaviest rainfalls occur during August and September.
