Requisitos

  • Visto de Estudante F-1 e no mínimo 18 anos de idade;
  • Ter terminado o Ensino Médio;
  • Proficiência em inglês de nível 6 ou superior;
  • Inscrição mínima de 1 curso completo;
  • Demonstrar maturidade e vontade de participar das atividades em sala de aula.

Cursos

A seleção do curso é baseada no interesse do aluno. Os cursos são ministrados cara a cara, utilizando extensos recursos online para enriquecer a entrega do curso. A compra de livros, embora não seja essencial, é incentivada.
The goal is that the student develops an understanding of the role of Marketing in a firm; what marketing is, what is marketing strategy and what tools a company has, to implement these strategies. This includes buyer behavior, the psychological factors and environmental factors that influence the decision making the process of a consumer, and the five stages of the decision-making process. Also, STP – segmentation, targeting, and positioning and 4 Ps: product, price, place, and promotion should be understood.
The goal is that the student develops an understanding of the principles, purposes, functions, and techniques of management including an understanding of the important management ideas, processes, techniques, concepts, and elements, and the theory and significant underlying assumptions, concepts, and limitations of management data, including a comprehension of the rationale of procedures, methods, and analyses.
The goal is for students to develop an understanding of how free markets work to allocate resources efficiently, how individual consumers make economic decisions to maximize utility, and how individual firms make decisions to maximize profits, identify the characteristics of the different market structures, analyze the behavior of firms in terms of price and output decisions and the determination of wages and analyze and evaluate the distribution of income.
The goal is that the student develops an understanding of the principles of economics that apply to an economy, particularly the general price level, output and income, and interrelations among sectors of the economy, the determinants of aggregate demand and aggregate supply, monetary and fiscal policy tools that can be used to achieve specific policy objectives, and concepts such as gross domestic product, consumption, investment, unemployment, inflation, inflationary gap and recessionary gap.
This course covers fundamental terminology, and basic concepts of information systems as well as the application of that knowledge. The goal is for students to develop an understanding of software applications used in business, the functioning of the world wide web, the utilization of specialized technology used in e-commerce, data management and information systems. Also, software development, programming concepts and data management are covered.

The goal is for students to develop an understanding of the history and sources of American Law and the Legal System. Emphasis is placed on the functions of contracts in American business law, torts, agency and employment and sales.

The goal is for students to develop an understanding of the basic facts and concepts as well as general theoretical approaches used by sociologists. The course covers topics including the role of institutions, social patterns, social processes, social stratifications, and concludes with the sociological perspective.

The goal is for students to develop an understanding of business and the environment in which businesses operate. The course will cover topics including economic issues, international business, government & business, business ownership, small business, entrepreneurship, franchise, management process, HR management, production & operations, marketing management, financial management, risk management & insurance, management, and information systems.
The goal is for the student to develop an understanding of the role of money and banking in the business world. The course will cover topics including the role & kinds of money, commercial banks & other financial intermediaries, central banking, Federal Reserve System, money & macroeconomics, U.S. monetary policy, the international monetary system.
The goal is for students to develop an understanding of how and why humans settled in the places and regions they did. The course will cover topics including earth and basic facts (maps, physiography, atmosphere, soils and vegetation, water), culture and environment, settlement patterns, political geography and regional geography.
The goal is for students to develop an understanding of how and why organizations behave the way they do. Topics of study include the scientific approaches, research designs, data collection methods, individual processes & characteristics, interpersonal & group processes, organizational processes, change & development processes.
The goal is for students to develop an understanding of the concept and fundamental factors of personal finance. The course covers topics including financial goals, cash management, credit & debt, installment loans, interest calculations, major purchases, taxes, insurance, investments, retirement and estate planning, and others.
