Energetic and experienced TEFL teacher needed with proven ability to plan dynamic lessons. Passionate about making learning a student-centered experience that lives in and outside of books. TALK is looking for qualified English language teachers for our Atlanta school with availability Monday through Friday, 9:00am-1:00pm, with the option for afternoon lessons (tutoring and conversation classes). TALK is looking to fill multiple positions teaching either General English or teaching TOEFL strategies. This is a part-time position.

We provide students with comprehensive English language programs including general, intensive and academic English, exam preparation and university placement assistance. TALK is ACCET accredited and relentlessly pursues academic excellence utilizing the most modern teaching methodologies based upon the communicative and full-immersion methods of English language acquisition. Our teachers and staff are passionate about helping students reach their goals. TALK has several superb study locations in the USA including Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco and four in South Florida: Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, downtown Miami and Miami Beach.

To be considered for a teaching position, all candidates must meet or exceed the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 months full-time experience teaching English as a second or foreign language
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States

  • Master’s degree in TESOL/TEFL with emphasis on practical classroom techniques, or related field
  • TESOL/TESL/TEFL or CELTA certification

Humanities

The goal is for students to develop a general knowledge of literature, art, music, and the performing arts. The course covers periods from classical to contemporary in the fields of poetry, prose, philosophy, art, architecture, music, dance, theater, and film. Students will develop a framework to comprehend, analyze and interpret various works of art.
